LOL jury rig huh? well i think we all at some point in time have done it. some times you just cant wait for the wiring kit. post a pic of your head unit anyway. i just hate gaps though. i really like when a head unit looks better then stock, you know matching color, and matching back lights of the dash.

Rep Power: 0 whiterabbit, I've seen your install before and I think it looks awesome. Its a really good idea, I don't know if I would want mine there because I would find that inconvenient but it looks really nice.
There is a clarion unit that I have seen in our dash before and it looks pretty nice. You can adjust the colors on it so it can match pretty close to the dash lights and everything.

Rep Power: 0 Yea thats my Eclipse 8051, as long as the suns not right on it and hitting my face from it, i can read it pretty easly. but it might be that i know my deck and my cds well enough.

Rep Power: 0 well, i do have the coupe but try finding a nak with amber illumination. anyhow, the coupe isnt amber, it's much more RED, neither amber, nor green match it. anyhow, yeah the 45 is incredible for what i paid on ebay for it. it works with MY cd-rs so i dont know what the fuss is all about. i did check out the new 400 a week or two ago and the guy said it is basically identical to the 45, which it is from messing with it, it just has switchable illuimination. but also i think the 45 looks much better than the new one. but that is my personal opinion.
Hey ironcow and R1style where'd you get your dash kits from and how many $$'s?? You can sure tell the difference between the DIY and the real kit...You can PM me and tell me if thats easier then posting.
