Has anyone replaced the power wire for the Alt?
So yea, the title is pretty self explanatory, I jsut need to know if anyone has ever replaced the power wire for the alt, and/or if someone could post instructions on how/where to do it??

Rep Power: 0 What you are talking about as it pertains to car audio is upgrading the "Big Three" or the "Magic Three" as they are sometimes called.
The Big 3 wires to upgrade are:
1. the negative battery wire to ground
2. the engine block to ground
3. the battery to alternator - DO NOT exchange wires on this one, just add an additional one. You can even fuse it for added protection but it is not necessary.
I would use at least 4-gauge on all of them.
