Question I.C.E. Rookie with questions!

wsup peepz...herez the situation and i'm hoping i can get some opinons...

my fren just gave me a brand new set of Blaupunkt 3-way 6x9's
210 Watts MAX
70 Watts RMS

I just purchased a Pioneer Premier deck off of ebay...now heres my question...

I know my speakers are kinda cheap, but i got them for free....I would like to know what kind of amp I should get to achieve the maximum potential of these speakers...I'm not gonna put anything bigger than 6x9's in my car...

I want an amp that will push the max wattage allowed for these speakers without blowing them...if you have any suggestions or opinions it would be appreciated...thanks fellaz!!

alex053 will become famous soon enough
you need an amp that is 70 watts rms per channel. RF power 551x or 501X would do the job.

save your money and make your car the fastest at with bolt on's.

your gonna soend at least 60 dollars in wires
at least another 100 for a 2ch amp
then if you get it installed another 50 at least
save your money for an intake or better front speakers
the amount of money your gonna spend to amp 2 "kinda cheap"(your quote) speakers is not worth it

or simply invest a good amount of money on the speaker and dont use the full capability of the amp....when and if u upgrae the speakers u will have a stronger amp to power ur stronger speakers!!! and as for an intake.....well it adds a lil hp but not a lot....my opinon is to spend the money on the stereo u will use it more anyway

Hey man welcome, and if i was you i would go with an SPL 500 watt 4 way, because they have alot of adjustments to fine tune the sound of the speakers.

what's a spl 500 watt 4-way? is that a 6x9, and if it is, you want 500w going to them

Thanks fellas! You've all been of great help...and about an intake? I've got one!! Why do I need another?? Hahaha...

I figured I just leave it bumpin the way it is...its amazing how much bass and clarity come with a Pioneer Premier...the sound SOUNDS great!

Yup, I'm gonna order my HP Header soon then my JET ECU...fastest 7th Gen Civic with bolt-ons, doesn't seem so far out of the picture now does it?
