Amp Doesn't Turn On

Well, one day I'm cruising, and my subs turned off... It was weird because then like 5 minutes later it would turn on. So this kept going on for like 2 weeks. I thought maybe it was the power wire, and I messed w/ that for a while.

If they cut out for a long time, I would just shut off my car for like 2 minutes, then turn it on, and they would work.

Then they just stopped.

I got out my test light, and the power wire has power going to it, but the Remote Start doesn't anymore. So I pulled out the console and the remote start was hooked up right. Is it possible that the CD player just messed up in that spot, or if that were to mess up would the whole thing mess up? I'm so confused.

I've tried anything, any suggestions?

Are the subs wired correctly? Is the amp warm? is there a protect light, does the LED still glow green when it goes out?

test the remote wire behind your cd player to see if it has power. If so, then its not your cd player. then look to see if your amp is on when your sub cut off. if so, then your wiring for the sub is wrong, or something is wrong with your amp.

Check the Remote Power turn on...if there isn't power to it at the amp, but there is at the HU, then the wire might have been rubbing on something and could have sliced. That would explain the cutting off

A lot of times the remote wire itself has a small 0.1 Amp or so fuse in it. Usually really close to the HU, like within 6" or so.
