Arrow Anyone have this setup???

I was thinking of going with a 15" Brahma. Just wondering if anyone in here has a similar setup,, either a brahma , or 1 15" ,, curious how it would sound in my 02 ex coupe.

I have an Alpine Type-R 15" in a ported box in my coupe, it sounds great. If you have the right box you can get good sound from just about any sub.

brahma is a powerhungry ****. you need at LEAST 1000 rms to get that sucker moving. if you like the brahma, check out betteraudio.com , they are about to release a sub that is basically identical to a brahma yet more efficient, louder, and with a higher xmax and for a lower price.

the BE will be superior, yes, but youll have to wait a few months for it. it, for all intents and purposes, is identical to a brahma.

a buddy of mine runs a single 12" brahma off a 1200.1. its a reasonble combo, plenty of power for the woofer, yet not he maximum power it cna take. so you have some good headroom, yet youve got some crazy volume as well.

I cant imagine any enthusiast who would be unhappy with a brahma 12 or 15 and a jbl1200.1

it would greatly surprise me if noone had a similar setup, and in fact, you can go to adire's website and find people running 15brahma's. maybe not a 2k1 civic, and maybe not a forum frequenter here.

but its faily common, yes.
and in yoru civic it will get really really loud, guaranteed.
