This is for my truck, just a little idea I've been toying around with...

Aiwa CDC-X437
Blaupunkt PCx652 6 1/2"
Blaupunkt PCx693 6"x 9"
(2) Alpine Type-E 12" subs
Profile Clarus CL600 (for 6x9's)
Profile Clarus CL800 (for subs)
Rockford Fosgate dual-amp wiring kit

I would do something other than Aiwa. The aiwa players are ok, but I think for the money you're going to spend you could get a better sounding, better quality headunit. Thats just my .02 cents.

I would also watch out for the Type E's because I read that they are cheaper than the Type R's. R's are good quality but are not pricey at all, I would wonder about the Type E's personally, and Aiwa .. haha

With audio you get what you pay for. If you are going to sepend 600 bucks on a system that you are going to replace when you get more money just save it. You will be much happier if you get better equipment.

Hmm, I've never really thought of $200 a sub as cheap. The type E's are actually pretty nice entry level subs. As for the rest of that stuff, especially the Aiwa radio, definitly not worth the time, money or effort.

IMO, i would go with a different head unit, i had a awia headunit and at first it wasnt reading MP3's and now its not reading cd's at all. IMO i would just get a differnt headunit. thats my experience with awia but others may say different.

Actually I would save a little more and get better everything except the Type E's. They are a real nice entry level sub for the price.
