New Speaker Wire

I've decided to wire new wire to my components (infinity 6000cs) up front from the amp. I was wondering what the best way to get wire to the drivers and tweeters in the door were? Also, for the OEM wiring, is it ok to just cut it, or should I seal it off somehow? Thanks.

The easiest way is to buy some Monster Speaker Cable or another brand that comes all in one strand....its like four 16 Guage wires in heatshrink thats only about as thick as 8 guage power wire. You can easily thread that through the rubber grommets that the stock wires go through.

its like rumnning your power wire.

when you get to the door, you can acess the door gromet from inside the kickpanel. not too bad too worm the wire through there.

id leave the stock wiring in place, just in case you ever sell teh car and want to restore the stock stereo

As whiterabbit said, just push it through the grommet.. that's what I did and had no problems whatsoever..
