Honda OEM Stereo Code

Hi All,

I just took out the OEM stereo fo my '03 EX and a friend of mine installed it in his '03 LX. However, when he punches in the code for my stereo, it won't register. I told him the code that came with my keys on the little plastic strip. Is there another code to use? Any help would be appreciated.

The code you need is on YOUR (car stereo came with) driver's side door jamb, its printed on a sticker.

It does when you have to remove the shift boot on the cars with the one-piece ashtray/cupholder.

Why does he need your OEM stereo? The LX comes with its own.

Has he tried his OEM code? Maybe it registers with something. It should work though, I'd give it a few more tries.
