which size sub has cleanest bass?

i was thinking of gettin some subs. i want nice n clean bass, nothing too heavy. i was thinkin about 8" or 10" sub. any input is appreciated! thanx!

Please search around, this has been covered many times. It does not matter about size, it's all in enclosure and install.

i bet you the Resonant Engineering XXX 18" sub has better response and sounds cleaner than the standard best buy 10" or 8". Its about quality and install, not size.
