Q-Forms installed, PICS!!!....
i finally got these things installed, and quite frankly, they weren't that easy. it wasn't the q-forms that were hard to install, it was finding the input wire ( since i was using the factory wiring ) and locating a place for the x-overs. but i did it, and here they are:
drivers side
passenger side
and here are some pics i took of the q forms ( front, back, dynamated, blah blah ):

q-forms are awesome!!! the front stage is a lot more centered, and in my opinion, there is a lot more midbass. i think that if you are serious about your car audio, you should get q-forms or make your own kicks, cause the sound is incredible now.

I heard that 6 /12s will not fit with those.

according to q-logic, they are made to fit "most" 6 1/2", if not, just bottom mount them, its all the same i bet.

Did that grill come with the q-forms, or with the Diamonds...because it looks like it fits perfectly.

the q-forms also came with the neccesary screwd, polyfill, and some other rubber gasket things. all you need to do to the forms is to cut out the hole for the speakers, thats all, the rest of the install shouldn't be that tough.

Do the kick panels help with all the rattling noise that's made when they're in the doors?

really, the main thing i noticed is that the sound is more centered, meaning i can actually hear the right ( passenger side ) speakers, before, most of my sound was coming from the drivers side. also, i can hear more midbass, i think because the speakers are now pointed at me, and not my legs.
i totally think that kick panels are worth, get q-forms, make your own, whatever, its all about positioning the speakers properly.

use a bit with fine teeth, i think its the one thats made for ceramic tile. nice setup! i had to have my kick panels custom made because qforms did not have kicks when i built my system. excellent choice on the components too! i hope that you disconnected all of your factory speakers so that you can get the true imaging out of those kick panels. but then again, it is however you like it...congrats on your new kicks!!

do you have pics of your kicks, i'd really like to see them.
those HEX's are the only speakers i have in the car, i traded in my rear speakers for the kicks, lol. i think i will still need to adjust them a bit, but so far, i am really impressed by them.

btw, made a stop at the local honda dealer to get some new tweeter pods, or garnishes, whatever they are called. since i used to have the tweeters there, i need to put some LX garnishes to cover it up, they are $12 a pair if anyone wanted to know.

6525083 GARNISH, 76220-S5P-000ZA
6525240 GARNISH, 76270-S5P-000ZA
(btw, 0=zero, not O the letter)
there are two part numbers because they are sold seperately. they said i should come by tuesday, since they just ordered them, i'll let you know if they are the proper tweeter garnishes cause, well, you never know, i think i confused the lady at the parts department, i told her i had an EX, but wanted LX garnishes, and she didn't get it, hopefully she ordered the right part.
