How much voice...
would you think IYO should be coming out of your subs? For me I try to get almost none...but there is this one local radio personality by the name of Theo whose voice is so damn deep!! Even if i don't get anyone elses voice I always get his...then I try to tune it a lil lower. But the "breathiness" of bass x-overed a lil higher can sometimes sound better to me.
I know that with different set-up subs should be set differently...especially if you have a woofer dedicated to mid-bass. In this topic I am speaking more of a two way component system with subs.
Also, I realize that with four subs any voice eminating from the subs will be more pronounced at higher volumes...even though the voice is tailing off.
What do most consider ideal...having a lil "breathiness" in the system, or very low voice, if any?

none. zero.
edit: ideally. some people like really a really boomy response, in which case want as much voice in the response as possible. but below 50 Hz (sub-bass region) there is no such thing as voice. maybe on teh radio when they pronounce "P" or a hard "t", but maybe not even that. you should get no voice.
