Ok, so I've already ordered these components... I may have been totally stupid in doing so, because I'm not really sure on the depth. Will I have to make any modifications to the door or door panel? I really hope not.
ALSO, from what I've read, good speakers won't really sound good unless they have an amp... so If I'm only powering the front components, what kind of amp should I get? I know absolutely NOTHING about amps..
I'm pretty new into all of this. I just don't like the stock speakers and I love the way tweeters sound... so.... what do u think?
Thanks for your time..

I believe the coupe & sedan front's are the same, so ill continue on as if I know what i'm talking about. When I was going to order the Infinity Kappas through Crutchfield they simply told me no... They said it would not fit where the stock speakers sit due to magnet size. You will need to modify it to fit, yes. Have they shipped your Kappa's out yet? If not switch to the Infinity Refrence Components because they will fit. I have them & they sound great. Install the tweeter's to your side-view mirrors. The amp will bring out the potential that your speakers have so get one. I would suggest getting a 4 Channel Amp, 200 Watts or so, just for your highs.

well here's the deal
there are hardly any speakers worth getting that will fit without any effort
if you have a dremel, you can fit the speakers.
Basically youll need a .75" spacer or so. you can just cut a ring out of wood. the door panel has a tiny ring of plastic ont he inside of it thats useless anyways. You can get it off with a utility knife. The actual door may have to be slightly cut to get it to fit.
as to the amp part, i reccomend you install it as it is, see if you like it like that. If you want more, get an amp, although it will sound TONS better with an amp, not everyone needs one for their tastes
