What's the point of the question....taking a survey or looking to see what people are running to see what's popular..

Are you looking for mono class a/b amps or a Class D amp (all mono) or a 2 channel sub amp that can be bridged to one channel?..

diamond audio d5 600.1

300 @ 2 ohms mono
600 @ 1 ohm mono

according to diamond, these are underrated by a bit, they claim these usually make over 800 watts @ 1 ohm.

im looking for a class d with mofset.. and i just wanted to look at other options. i plan to run my mono amp with one sub(s12l5)

I didnt have a problem with any of them...they all worked flawlessly.

1500dx - its not longer repaired and is an old unit...replaced by 500D, then by the 6500D

6500D - the 6500D's were nice. I had one on each 15W3D4. the speakers had a wicked impedance rise and i never really got full power from the amps.

Xtant 6.1-I tested that Xtant at 1 ohm wrapped in a towel and couldnt get it to shut down

BD1500 - is one of the most powerfull amps out there right now, look at DB Drag. We went thru alot because the protection was pulled out we had 16 of them on a pair of speakers[IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

301M and x1.1000.1d - had zero problems with these also...great entry level amps with a ton of power and hardly a strain on the electrical system

X1.2000.1D - 2200 watts and change at one ohm...i havent put it in the civic yet...i dont have any speakers that will handle it to test yet.[IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]

At the moment I have a brand new Alpine MRD-M500 which is for sale. I had 2, but they are being replaced with the Alpine MRD-M1000 any day now when released.
