So I'm sitting there workin on installing my changer (and unjamming it, stupid UPS), and I turn the car off, do a little wiring, and turn the car back on. Now my HU wont turn on!!! I checked the fuse for ACC RADIO and ACC CIGAR under the steering wheel, its fine. I checked the fuse in line on the Eclipse harness, its fine. Everything else in the car works ok. I tried to plug in another 8051 i have, it wouldnt turn on either. Any ideas? I really need my car tomorrow.

Check and see if all the wires are plugged in correctly. Also test the harness make sure it is getting power to it. What type of wiring did you do? You said you had two different decks, do you have a second wiring harness to test?

make sure you also check the fuse under the Hood in the main Fuse box. In there you will find a radio back up fuse I've had that one blow on me once or twice and that's probably what your forgetting.

It was the backup fuse. The changer is dead (I'm just gonna get the in-dash 6-disc from eclipse, can someone send me a DIY on how to do two 1-din radios aesthetically in our cars?). I've gotta wait for my new navigation discs to see if commander works well. I can control the radio which is an awesome feature.
