Yes, They fit like a glove. Those are the speakers I plan to buy. The part number is 692.5i. Go to ebay.com and search 692.5i You will see multiple listings for brand new sealed box speakers with the "buy it now" option. This is the cheapest place I can find them. You should be able to get them for about $115 with shipping.

Well I would hope the 692.5i's would fit. However I am talking about the 62.5i speakers. aka the 2 way 6.5 inch apeakers, NOT the 6x9 speakers.

Sorry, Dude. Crutchfield's site says no way on the 62.5i, but only by 1/8" top mount depth. It's worth a try. Those speaks look nice.

Yea I was wondering about that becuase if you go into Infinity's site, they say that the 62.5i's DO fit in the 2k1 Civic. But yea I know Crutchfield says otherwise. So I just wanted to see if anyone actually tried to fir them in.

There appears to be plenty of room between the top mount surface and the stock grill on my 2003. I would try shimming up the 1/8th inch. I did some searching in I.C.E for you and didn't see any other mention of those speakers. Good luck.

I assume those are component 2-ways? If they are, I can throw em in for you....really simple to do...just get some 1/8 or 1/2" MDF and build a spacer to mount them. You're only about an hour away from me. Even if it's a coaxial, it should fit with a spacing bracket. Buy them and come to one of the install fests at myself or grey's house, we'll get them installed in a couple hours.

They aren't the component 2-ways. Those are much more expensive than I can afford. They are just the straight up speakers with no components. Check them out right here So could u still do it?

Oh yea i know aboutt he brackets and all. There is just some discepancy between crutchfield and infinity whther or not they fit. crutchfireld says the mounting depth istoo much for the back while inifnity says otherwise. so i dunno. trying to get as much feedback as possible before i buy them.
