Rep Power: 0 are there many people that have heard these Q-forms. I don't mean in our 7thgen civic's but in anybodys car? Will this dramatically enhance the sound system of your car? I personally don't like how the front speakers are set up in our cars, basically at your legs pointing at your ankles. If anyone has some experience with these Q-forms fill me in. Does anybody know an approximate price range? Installation probably has to be pretty expensive too huh?

Rep Power: 304 Installation is a simple DIY man.....you put the speakers into them, pop your stock kick panels out, run the speaker wire to them, and put them in place of the stock kicks.....shouldent take more than an hour.

Rep Power: 0 Yes it is usually a dramatic improvement, especially if you have never heard speakers in the kicks. Q-logic has a history of making excellent Q-Forms when it comes to the Honda Civic. There is even an IASCA World Champion who uses Q-Forms in his Civic. I would strongly recommend beefing them up with some fiberglass or damping mat since they are thin. Also consider using an mdf baffle for the mid and maybe even sealing the rear but that is not always necessary. They usually run under $200 online. They are a definite improvement over the stock locations.

Rep Power: 0 cuz theyre made of cheapo thin plastic... this plastic isnt necessarile the most acoustic material in the world... also, some seal them for added midbass response

Rep Power: 0 You can use them with door speakers or in place of your door speakers. A few examples....6.5" or 5.25" comp set in the kicks with no door speakers...6.5" or 5.25" comp set in the kicks with an additional 6.5" in the door for midbass...3-way comp set with tweeter & 4" in the kicks and the 6.5" mid in the door...lots of options. You could also add a set of attenuated tweeters in the stock locations to go along with the kicks if needed. You would be surprised how good just a comp set by itself in the kicks will sound (provided the install is correct). I plan to use either a 5.25" comp set in the kicks with 6.5" mids in the doors or use a 3-way set up, tweet, 4", and 6.5's.

Rep Power: 0 ummmm I like that idea of another speaker in the door for midbass and the kicks, but how would you wire them? use the rear outs and not have rear speakers??

Rep Power: 0 I just called theZEB 1877-922-8346 and place my order today.
It cost me $149.99 + 6.95 shipping.
It's not available on their website so you have to call them.

Rep Power: 0 Alex since you work for rockford you can probably answer this. I got my q-forms the other day and the gray is extremly light gray. When I went to cut the hole for the midbass the gray paint chipped and revealed the original color which is the perfect match the the dark gray in the car. Does q-logic consider that color to be black? If I order the black q-forms will they be the original color or are they painted black? Every other year civic has dark gray for an option so I figured maybe you would know.
Thanks
Thanks
