Difference w/Rockford Fosgate Amps

I was recently looking at some Rockford Fosgate Amps. Somebody want to tell me what the big difference between "PUNCH" and the "POWER" series amps are? Same wattage and everything but a different price. I guess something HAS to be different I'd just like to know what

IIRC, it's the built-in x-over. Other than that, they are virtually the same.

Tell that to Wilson Adcock (a.k.a. "The Reaper") the 2002 IASCA Sound Quality Expert Unlimited World Champion.

yeah whatever, I've taken many best of shows and won many sound quality comps with nothing but rockford amps. Rockford lost it's edgy appeal because it became mass marketed in Best Buy, and the purists never want anything that the average consumer sees in a hug store. Much liek underground music, they love it until it hits radio then all of a sudden it isn't good enough for them anymore. Rockford is very good and in my opinion the best in it's price range.

Whats all this SPL and SQ jazz? But to answer my question besides the gauge of the wire connectors and crossovers, technical specs are darn near identical? thanks

spl = sound pressure levels = loudness
sq = sound quality = perfect reproduction of recorded ound with a flat response all throughout frequencies
sql = a mix of both, and what people like in their cars
