welli want to redo my sub. I have a MTX 8302 amp and well i want to get a new sub. . I have a cerwin vega 124 and it's in a really big box that is ported and the quality is good but it's not loud enough.
I really like the Jl audio but white rabbit always says Shiva. where can i get shiva?. well this is what i want i want soemthign that will be loud enough to hear when my windows are down and i'm on the freeway. More quality over quantity though and i want to know whether i shoudl use two 12"s or one. Oh and any suggestions on boxes. would be great. thanks

Adire Audio
or here:
Ampman
Although you may want to look at this first:
Adire Issues
That should get you started. If you're looking to get 2 12" Shivas, plan on a 4 cu. ft. box SEALED.
Good luck!

Rep Power: 314 vynil has it right, the shiva is more of a quality woofer. i guarantee you one shiva you will hear with the windows down on the freeway, but it just wasnt designed to be a LOUD woofer. thats what rockford was good for.
there are other woofers that are better for volume, kicker comes to mind. comp VR's would be a killer woofer if your looking for ***** out loud. fairly efficient woofers, too, like the shiva.
but shiva wont win you any parking lot competition, unless you run, like, four of them

jl 13w7 (600) + box (100) + JL 1000/1 (750) = $1450.00
