Amp questions
I have 2 Visonik 10's in a dual bandpass box and I'm getting ready to buy an amp, but I dont know what I should get. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, I just want something relatively low in cost that will put out enough power to sound okay. A guy at a car shop told me walmart had brand name amps like pioneer, but he didnt know if it would be a good idea to get one from there, even though they were at least 80 bucks less than circuit city and they have a warranty. Any suggestions?

You could go with a mono Class D sub woofer amp. I actually heard that Visonik b-pass box the other day at Fry's and it got WAY loud...we heard it on the other side of the store. What is the wattage rating on the box and subs?

Well, I dont have them hooked up yet, I've heard them in stores, and i have friends who have the 2 10's (same setup as mine) and they sound pretty good. It handles 500 watts RMS and a peak power of 1000 watts.

I was looking at rockford fosgate amps. Which would be better considering i have the 2 10's.... the rockford fosgate 400s (100W X 2) or the rockford fosgate 300s (75W X 2)..Theres only a $30 difference between the two on the website i'm at, I'm just not sure how much power i need. Thanks
