$150 - $300 : jl w3v2
$300+ : 12w7

12w7 is godlike
I havn't heard a shiva yet and that is prolly all I will
be able to afford... gonna have to go find one to listen to.

Here are my picks:
entry level: PPI C2 (awesome subs for the price, hit 151.1 dB SPL with 2 15's in a baffle)
mid level: Image IDQ, Alpine Type R, MMats Pro, Kicker L7, eclipse aluminums
high end: Eclipse Titanium, Elevation Execution (because i helped design it and hit 154 dB SPL with 2 15's) , Image ID Max
I'd like to check out Adire's subs, everyone talks highly of the shiva and the brahma gets killer reviews.

IMO Audiobahn isn't as bad as everyone says it is. It has it own niche (which would be the looks), which makes them nice to be mounted inverted and for show cars. HOWEVER, Elipse subs are of a much better sound quality then Audiobahn...and I think Ludlam has attested to that. It all ends up being personal preference though...it is just shocking to me that someone who works at a shop that only carries the best of the best favors Audiobahn so much over Eclipse

u currently have three 10" audiobahns, that are running on 1000watts (for now). They're in a bandpass enclosure that audiobahn had designed themselves. I really like the sound of my subs, BUT I still wish I could have some eclipses. Another good brand that I like is Xtant.
I will say ECLIPSE again.
