Interference in subs only when car is running

Hey guys. I have two real low end RF 10's sub and a Jenson amp. When i turn the ignition on and the car is not running, i get no "Hiss" coming from the subs but when I start the car and its running, i can hear a loud hiss which sounds like interference coming from the subs. Does anyone know what the cause of this may be? I just found it when I was sound proofing my car with the rear seats removed. Thanks, brad

Could be one of two things....engine noise/alternator wine, or the transistors in the amps are hissing....my car hisses like a **** when I first turn it on in the cold, but after about 10 min it warms up and goes away. Try revving the motor and if the hiss alternates frequency, then it's the alternator/engine noise prob.
