mount it like a tach!...........LOL i think it would look good if you mounted it right next to the steering wheel on the right side facing you

how tall is it? if its a decently small size you could easily mount it under the HU in the pocket

I got the Delphi SkyFi system too, but I havent mounted it yet since I dont have an HU with Aux inputs yet (see this thread).

I was also trying to figure out where to put it. It's definitely too big to put in the pocket below the HU. I thought about Kenshin's idea of putting on top of the dash like a tach. That's actually the current plan assiming the wires arent a problem.

Assuming you've taken care of this problem already since it's been a while since your post, lemme know how you ended up doing it. Also, did you mount your antenna outside the car (where?), 'cause I was wondering if I could just put it inside the car, on the center of the dash, like where the winshield meets the dash.

Those Delphi units are pretty nice except that they are almost impossible to mount in any car! The stupid bracket they give you is good for nothing. Good luck trying to find a place to mount it. The easiest place to mount the antenna is on the trunk lid. the reception is fine and its a lot easier to run the wires then on the roof. If you plan on hardwiring it you HAVE to buy the FM modulator kit, because the cigarette adapter that comes with the car kit is also a voltage adaptor, it changes it to 6 volts, so if you cut off the adapter end and wire it directly to 12 volts you WILL fry the unit.

i havent really seen this thing but would it fit in our dash if the deck wasnt there or the bottom pocket... like if you had the deck custom mounted somwhere else could you put it in the dash with out doing heavy modding?
