Okay..if they are SVC 3ohm..I'd say go with a JBL 1200.1 or an MTX 81000D.. The MTX is a little more expensive and has a slightly better built in crossover. Both put out around 1400Wrms into 1.5ohms..

Nope...not at all..the crossover isn't the best but it's not terrible either..but as far as class D amps go..there is absolutely no difference in their "sq"....there is a difference between a Class D amp and a high quality Class A/B amp for subwoofer controll (damping) that can be easily noticed..but class A/B amps of that power are pretty damn expensive

isnt 1400 watts a little much for the 10?
if not, where is a good place(besides the internet) to find MTX products, and is the MTX comparable to the JL 1000/1?

you said 2 10's/..700Wrms each isn't too much..the JL 1000/1 would be a better choice as it's a class a/b amp and has better damping properties than the best of class D amps can hope to have...but a 1000watt class a/b would draw alot of amperage at high power levels, and you need sometthing to either run 1.5ohm mono or 6ohms mono..or buy 2 seperate amps to run them 3ohm mono..

Mohawk.. you're always mentioning "damping factors"... what are you reffering to?? are you talking about gain, or clipped signals or something like that??
EDIT:.. the second that i ask a question, i end up finding the answer for myself
for all who are interested,
Damping Factor: The ability of an amplifier to control the load without overhang. This applies to how tight the bass is. Usually the higher the number, the better, although it is debatable if anything over 50 is audible. Damping factor is calculated by dividing the load (speaker) impedance by the output impedance of the amplifier. Thus, a given amplifier’s damping factor will decrease as the speaker’s impedance decreases. This means an amp running at 4 ohms will provide tighter bass than at 2 ohms.
