Subwoofer question
I noticed on one of my Shivas that the center part ( the convex circle in the center)was not glued properly to the outer portion of the center. When I push down on the subs it makes a weird scratching noise and looks like it is coming apart from the outside portion of the center. I tried to glue it with silicon, but I am not sure if it will hold (and ofcoarse my dumb a$$ did a messy job). It looks like half of the center part is not glued properly or coming unglued. What should I do? Is it an easy fix, and will it distort the sound?
long as you got it sealed on there you should be fine. the middle part is the dust cap. It keeps dust and other stuff from getting into the gap between the voice coil and the magnet. long as nothing got in there you'll be fine.

cool, I got it sealed, but not on my first try!
I tried liquid nails first, and didn't work, and then i found crazy glue and that worked
However, I did some of the liquid nails onto the cone, but oh well, as long as my ish works
