One last question......I think

What would be the best way to wire this setup?

I have an MTX 6500D and MTX 4244 4 channel amp, two 1 farad caps.

This is how I was planning on doing it but I may be wrong.
4g power wire to fused distribution block. 2 8g wires out of block to 1 cap each. from the caps into the amps

i was going to ground each cap separatly with 8g wire and for the amps i was going to ground them by going through another fused distribution block

any other suggestions please leave them. i'm not positive on this cause i've also thought of using the caps for just the sub amp

changed my mind a bit already.

i'm just going to run a 4g wire right to the 6500D and 8g to the 4244 right from the battery. i'm going to do without the distribution blocks(i wanted to use them cause i have 2 laying around) and just ground everything separate.

only thing i really need to know is should each amp have a cap or just the 6500D getting 2?

One 1 farad cap is plenty for the 6500D. You don't reallly need it for you 4 channel amp but if you have and don't want it just to sit around then you can use it. I would use the blocks for you power leads. Do 4ga from battery and 2 8ga from block. Use the other block to have your 2 ground cables from you amp feed into it and have a single grounding point with a 4ga ground from that block. That's what I would do, but looks like you already have the right idea.
