I'm trying to decide on whether I should get one 12" brahma or 2 JL 12w6v2. Either way, they will be powered by an Orion Xtreme 900.2 . I'm trying to go for a combination of SQ and SPL.

see if you cant do a demo. everyone and their grandma has a brahma nowadays.

if yoru looking for opinions, ill tell you that IMO, the brahma sounds like [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] the orion pushes 900 watts? the brahma wont be pushing nearly as hard as it could. its too innefficient.

ive never heard the w6v2's, but JL has done an incredible job on their recent woofes that i have heard, i would expect the w6's no less.

now add to that better efficiency and twice the cone area.

i think the decision stands for itself. (plus the brahma is ugly as sin. the w6v2 inverted = sexy)

No place around here for me to demo the brahma. The idea I get from other forums is that they are right up there with the w7. I need to get out and listen to the JL's. Maybe this weekend I'll go take a listen. Thanks for your help.
