Greetings to all my civic owners!!!!
I need your help with a few questions. I currently have a Pioneer head unit (DEH-P7400MP) I love this radio, I pretty much love everything Pioneer puts out..Anyways I am interested in putting in a dvd player and a a 5 inch LCD screen, but I do not want to replace my radio.
1) Can I have a seperate dvd player and Lcd screen running with my radio still working?
2) If I mount the DVD player in the trunk where's the best place to munt it to avoid skipping?
3) Will I need a tuner of some sort in order to run this all?

Isn't there an AUX selection that you could use to play the sound out through the HU.

Source goes OFF -> CD -> Radio -> AUX -> CD Changer -> etc ......

I think AUX & Changer is defaulted to be off the rotation list, you enable and disable as you see fit.

I would hook up the DVD w/ the video going straight to the LCD and the sound going right into the HU.

I will look in my manual later tonight (got the same HU).
