Looks great...especially the silver finish on the JVC head unit. If I might make a small suggestion, get the silver/aluminum dash trim kit. It'll really set off the radio and the rest of the interior. It's too bad that the box in the trunk blocks the view of the amp.
Same question ... I was just looking at that.
You really should have one right at the batterey (within 1'-2') because you never know what could happen on the way back there.
I have only seen a fuse work once and it was a savior to the vehicle. Damn it was scary. My brother put a system in and I was helping him. He routed the cables while I put in the speakers. When we got done by the end of the night we were rocking. Took it for a quick drive and pulled over later to adjust the amp. When he did he pushed down the e-brake and boom. Flash of light, sparks, and a pop. Damn brake lever sliced the cable .... but the fuse blew immediately and saved everything.
Just a nice safeguard. Fuses are cheaper than replacing your car cause it caught fire over something dumb.
