help required (amp)
desperate help required
my subs are not pounding at all.
i checked the fuse up at the front from the battery. that fuse is fine.
checked and double checked all the wirings, and they are where they are suppose to be
does that mean that the fuse in the amp is blown?
how can i be absolutly sure?

the fuse in the amp is pretty easy to access. just take a look and see if it's still good. if it is then maybe you connected the speaker wires too far in and all the connections aren't made because the insulation on the speaker wires prevents it. I've seen it more than once so check it out.
Is the amp's led light on?
Maybe your HU's sub output got turned off somehow, if you have an aftermarket?
This happened to me once, I popped the tube fuse on teh wiring kit and the fuse i replaced it with was jsut barely too short, so sometimes the fuse would tough both ends, sometimes not. It's a long shot

Hi Flipped,
Have you checked the fuses on the amp?? It has a pair of 25 or 30 amp fuses.. Also the amp has a strict protection cicuit..if your voltage ever dropped below 10 volts you have to disconnect the power and ground wires from the amp for about 30 minutes. This will reset it.. Where did you ground the amp??..if it doesn't have a good ground the voltage drops..
Cheers

the ground was placed underneath the backseats and is secure.
thanks for the info...
i think your right about the 10 volts // because i found the power line not attached very strongly and coming lose //
i'll reset them tonight...
