Good day to all civic owners,
I am thinking of converting my head unit for a in dash dvd player with a built in lcd screen but, I am not too sure which would be the best. I would also like to know if these in dash dvd players come with detachable faces? I'm looking to spend between $1,200.00 to $2,000.00
your thoughts and opinions will be thankful

thanks a lot for the tip. I've seen that one but it looks kinda crappy. I'm not too crazy about multi-purpose radio system cause if one part breaks the whole things broken i don't know but I will go to a dealer and check it out a little more hands on ya know but thanks again.

Check out this Alpine unit. It's the lowest model they offer and has an awesome picture. Doesn't play cd/mp3 but has controls for a changer hook up. BTW, alpine makes some of the best stuff out there.

that alpine one doesn't have a dvd player, it just hooks up to one...

Both the Kenwood and Clarion are nice. *Touch screen*

Theres also the pioneer unit but is not touch screen. Also you will need to purchase a brain if you run the pioneer one.

Oh, you could buy the alpine changer that holds 6 cd/dvds to go with it. YOu would get the seperate units like you want.

TOUCH SCREEN ISN'T A BIG DEAL TO ME JUST AS LONG AS THE SCREEN CAN BE SEEN CLEARLY DAY OR NIGHT. I LIKE PIONEER PRODUCTS SO I'LL CHECK WITH THERE STUFF. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF ALL THESE DIFFERENT DVD PLAYER CAN PLAY OVERSEA'S DVDS...CAUSE I GOT MAD KUNG-FU FLIX FROM HONG KONG AND I HAD TO RETURN THREE DIFFERENT HOME DVD PLAYERS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T READ THE DISC. HAS ANY ONE TRIED PLAYING A OVERSEA'S MOVIE ON A MOBILE DVD PLAYER?

i'm not sure if it'll play cuz i don't have the dvd player + lcd combo from pioneer, but i do have th cd player + lcd combo. it's sweet, the picture is pretty crisp too. got it off of ebay for 860 shipped.
