Found decent alternators for our car

Mr Alternator at www.mralternator.com quoted that they can build a 130amp direct replacement for $245, plus $25 if you want it powder coated a different color. Just thought a few people may be interested.

Do you know if they can do anything around 170 amp? Mechman quoted me about $430 for a 175, so if they can do it cheaper I'd definately buy one. Has anyone had any experience with that company or their product?

errrr on that website i see a 2000 civic i don't see anything for a 2k1or 2k2

I contaced them directly by email and they said they can build one, it just isn't on there website, give them a call and see if they can do a larger one.
