I just bought a 2002 black ex 5spd. I also just bought a 7" Pioneer DVD unit. I was wondering how simple it would be if I were to install the deck on the bottom slot instead of the top. Are there any kits I need and what tools/parts should I get. If I put the deck there It would look a lot nicer and use more practical space. Thanks guys.

It does not fit easily into the bottom slot it can be done but you have to make a mount kit.

it can be put into the small storage compartment by the ebrake easier.

He probably won't want to put the LCD by the ebrake [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] heh. but, there's not kit to allow you to put it in the lower slot. you could just fabricate your own little kit though. Maybe you can put it in the Cigarette lighter spot?

putting an lcd in the bottom slot would block the open top slot and wouldn't allow you to put crap in it
