Component advice and info

I have a 2001 Civic Coupe and want to replace the
stock components. I already have Pioneer 4-way
6x9s in the rear, and a set of Soundstream SPL12's
in the trunck. I need to get some front imaging ....
I have always installed everything myself before
so installation for the most part is not an issue as
long as I am prepared and know what I will be
getting into ahead of time.

Question #1
I've narrowed it down to liking these two. What would
you suggest? I am going to listen to the HEX on Monday.
* Diamond Audio M3 ~ $280 Installed
(didn't have the M6 or HEX in stock, M6 ~ $340)
(must be professionally installed to get warranty !!!!)
* Boston Pro6.5 ~ $359 NOT Installed

Question #2
As far as installing them I know I'd need that spacer,
but how big? I hear the Bostons are huge.
1", 3/4", 1/2", ???????

Question #3
I have A-Pillars in the doors. What do I need to know
and think about for getting the new ones in there?
Is there a certain size I am restricted to etc ? ? ? ?

Question #4
Anything else I need to know about or consider ? ? ? ?

I am really considering spacers and wiring from
crutchfield ..... just to get the manual of how to tear
everything apart on my car.

Thanks in advance .......

GoCivicRacerGo is an unknown quantity at this point
Those speakers are pretty deep, I had to make 3/4 " spacers to fit my Focals and they weren't even that deep. You'd be better off making spacers out of plywood or mdf than buying spacers from crutchfield. I've heard the pros sound very good but need a lot of power. What kind of amp are you going to use? There are few choices about putting new tweeters in the A pillars, mainly because of how to secure them in there. 1" will fit fine, but how to secure them? The DIY on this site is pretty good for taking the door apart, crutchfield's guide is also very good.

$329 for the Bostons
