What amp would work best with....
There are a wide variety of amps out there and it all depends on what you want. You don't want to under power speakers so be sure you get an amp that is powerful enough. Personally I prefer MTX amps. They are powerful and reliable. I think they are the best for the money you pay. If you don't want to have a lot of amps in your car, get a 4 channel but if you don't care if it takes up space i would get 2 2 channel amps. You can check out MTX amps at www.mtxaudio.com but you don't neccessarily have to get these. Whatever fits your price range will work but that is my opinion. I also run an MTX amp in my car and it's amazing. Some cheaper amps that I hear work well are Profile and USacoustics. And some amps that are equivalent in price to MTX are Alpine and JL Audio.
When it all comes down to it... having an external amp powering your speakers rather than the HU will make a huge difference in sound quality.
These speakers are the right size but I don't know how deep they are so I can't tell if they'll fit your car.
Hope this helps.

The best way to go would be with a 4 chanel amplifier, it all dependes on your budget. I have a memphis amplifier, its rated at 75x4, JL audio, MTX, Rockford fosgate and presition power are some other good brands.

Thanks for the replies. I have a clarion that pushes 45Wx4. The speakers go 300wmax for 6x9 and 220w max for the 6.5" I was thinking about just the head unit, but I wasn't too sure whether i would come close to the speakers potential. Due to budget, and the fact that my car def. needs rims and a drop, I'll probably just go for the speakers, and run them off of the HU and then get an amp later on or something. But thanks for the replies, I was really looking for the number of channels, and stuff and thats what I got.
