Is this do-able???
I have an 2001 LX Coupe and I just bought a factory cd player from an 2001 Ex model....As you all know the LX comes with a tape deck and the EX with a cd.....Will I be able to swap these out with any problems or any kind of fit kit....I already have the new codes for the cd player so that's all set. Please help!! Thanks
PS: I first put in an Alpine, but it sucks so I'm put'n factory stuff back in....FYI

Rep Power: 0 yeah u will need the codes for the new head unit. whenever u disconnect the power from it u will need to enter the code again (an anti-theft thing). btw, what was wrong with ur alpine unit, y didnt u like it??

Rep Power: 0 Well...I work in DC and the roads suck...The Alpine head unit rattled...So then I took it out and put weather striping around the inside..(that helped that)..But then the buttons vibrated and made a rattling sound...It was just anoying...I'm very **** about noises...It makes the car sound junky...
