I need some help, Im looking into getting the Boston Rally component set for up front. But which size do i get? I want the 6.5's but I think they might be too big. So what size is everyone putting in there car? Also Should i get some components for the back? or just get diff. 6x9's

The 6.5's will fit with a proper size spacer.. The 5.25's would be an easier fit, but you still need a spacer to clear your windows.

I just put mine in and drilled four holes. I didn't use a spacer. But, they didn't go in all the way. I have about half an inch between the speaker back and the door to go flush. It won't hurt nothing.

I too had put the speaker in with just 4 screws, but they kept pulling threads out of the sheet metal. Just the other day, I took my sub out to put my bicycle in the trunk, and I noticed the horrible response from my Alpine 6 1/2's, so I decided to add the spacers to see if it would help. After the install, I can tell you not only do they look cleaner, but the response is better and I feel better about them. As far as the rear, it was such a pain in the **** that I would probably just leave the stock ones in and let your Bostons fill the front. If you are replacing the rear, watch for depth or you will hit the springs for the trunk. I don't know if they make a plate speaker for 6x9's, but that is probably what I would get. Photos of front door before and after.
