Crystal Clear Sound?

Crystal Clear Sound?
Okay, I was curious as to which 5 1/4" would offer the best sound (crisp, really good highs), i am planning on taking out the 6x9"s and placing 5 1/4 in the section near the back seat area just above the arm rest, (coupe), is this advisable? im basically using the 6x9 holes for ports to the subs. any suggestions.
EDIT
I may want to go with a clean stealth look, would i be able to run 6 1/2 in the 6x9 holes and have the extra 3 inches be used as ports or would i get a bad sound? would i have a problem with the subs and the back speakers as far as movement of the cones?
