Avital Alarms- Good or Bad?

Has anyone had any experiences with an Avital Alarm. They are owned by DEI so I figure they must be decent. They sell them at Best Buy starting at only $199. installed. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

Absolute crap. Had one on my previous car, it had problems about once a week. Would just go off randomly. Replaced the alarm brain, all wiring, etc 4 times. Never worked right, so returned under warranty and got a codealarm. Works so much better, it's what I have on my Civic now.
