concerning bridging amp?

im purchasing 2 10 inch dual voice coil subs and i was wondering if i would need to buy an amp that is bridgeable to 1 or can It be bridgeable to as low as 2? also, what is the advantage to bridge it to 1 while running 2 subs?

Generally bridged an amp puts out more power.. But fr a 2 channel amp..it would be the same as running each channel in 2 ohm stereo.

The subs you bought.. are they dual 4ohm Voice coils?..
