800w + 160w rf amps

Hey, I currently have an 800 watt rf 2 channel amp that is bridged and powering two 10" He2 subs in a sealed box (800watts rms bridged). I also have a rf 160w a2 amp that is pushing my infinity components (40w rms x 2 channels). At night, I notice a small to medium amount of dimming when I turn the volume up. I know that you say that Caps are only temporary, but I'm thinking of getting one in order to stop some of the dimming. Maybe even a red top batery as well. Do you think that by not buying a H/O alt , that I'm doing major damage to my alternator or electrical system. I don't want to break anything, but the 800w system is not worth it to me to buy a $600 H/o alt. Any input would be great. Thanx

Aaron

If you amps aren't Class D getting another battery won't help. Spend the cash on a High output alternator to fix your problem. Try a cap first though.
