Boat Radio

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about boat radios? My girlfriend has a 94 Stingray power boat and she is looking to get a marine radio with a cassette player or with a cd player. Does anyone know what brand is good for a marine radio?? Where to get them at a good price?? So far she has only found JVC, Jensen and panasonic. Cassette players are going for $119 and CD players are going for $169.
Thanks

Seeing as amrine equipment is all 12volt.. just get a Car HU...a bottom end Pioneer with 50x4 internal amp would do the job...

out of the three you mentioned id go for the panasonic, and i believe boat hu's are waterproof correct? so a car hu would not be appropriate.

She had a regular car hu but had to remove it because it stopped working. I think the the salt air just ate it up.

Clarion also makes some Marine Audio products, I'd get Clarion over those you listed, in my opinion. Try searching for "marine audio" i for some really nice setups with that They even have marine specific amps, imagine getting a nice fiberglass sub setup on a boat and the ripples in the water from the bass

while you're at it, you can get some MB Quart components for the boat too

If you want some good prices on boat stereo systems, try this place:

Car Stereo World

I just saved $100.00 on my headunit by shopping at a similar wholesale website .
