rear deck lid on the sedan

hey guys I did the speaker swap on the back of my car I have a lx 01 and I also put my sub back in and now the rear deck vibrates when I operate at anything higher than 50hz with the right song . all the clips were reinstalled any suggestions on this one to make it go away . it never did whe the stock speakers were in the back and it is pretty annoying at low volumes

Try mounting some rubber strips with double sided tape, make sure it fits tight, this will damper the vibration a lot.

I used 1/4" thick foam and stuffed some black foam down at the back of the rear window as that part makes contact and buzzes as well..

OK thats cool I like that idea I never thought about the edge touching the glass I assumed it was the the part by the seat more but it makes sense. thanks guys

Well I just spent this morning on that sucker. and it worked no more rattle and even turned it up more. now. thanks alot guys I used the foam idea it was the easiest material to find. . sounds much better.

Do you guys know anyone that put the front speakers on the outside of the door. what I mean is instead of behind the door panel actually see the speaker girll on the door. I think this would stop alot fo rattling in the front doors ???
