hello would like some suggestions..

hey guyz.. i just got my summer job.. and sound is next on my mod list.. im looking to spend a max 1000 cap on equipment..
so what do u guyz recomend for 6 1/2's - 6x9's - amps (2) and prefferably only 1 woofer (i need my trunk space)

My current headunit is a Pioneer Deh 6400 (this ok headunit to work with? what u guys think..?)

this what i was thinking ( all from www.sounddomain.com)

Infinity Kappa 692.5i 2-Way Speaker
6"x9" UniPivot Coaxial • Plus One Oversized Woofer Cone • External Crossover $199.95

Infinity Kappa 62.5i 2-Way Speaker
6-1/2" UniPivot Coaxial • Plus One Oversized Woofer Cone • External Crossover $149.95

above powered by ... insert good 4 channgel amp here _____________

what do u guyz think about the above speakers? im new the car audio thing and ive heard good stuff from reading around here about Infinity Kappa, but if u can suggest something better please do.. are tweeters important? i have an ex with the stock tweeters.. if budget allows ill get them too.. u guyz got any suggestions on those?

with the money left over on the first 3 or 4 items.. i can spend on 1 woofer and one amp to power that woofer.. im not looking to win sound competitions or anyhting.. just something nice enuff for the average listener.. * and nice enuff to impress the chics.. haha

if u guyz can suggest something good and leaving like 100 or 200 left on my 1000 budget.. it'd be GREAT.. becuase im thinking of mounting both amps on top of each other inside the spare tire well.. fans will cost a couple bux.. and the rest of the money for sound deadening material... oh and if it helps i usually listen to hiphop/RB and clubbin type musik

sorry for the long post.. THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCED..

MIKE,

Here is an idea.. why bother adding additional power on your rear speakers.. they should be for fill at most. Run your stock or slightly better than stock in the back and take that money and put it into a better set of front speakers.. Quartz or BA's are my choice. As far as amps go I love Xtant because they have very minimal drain on your battery, PLUS they are a great amp I run 2 100 watt amps one for my fronts (BA componets) and 1 for my kicker comp 12.. not the best sub but it'll do for now. If I had my choice of subs it would definatly be a JL. Hope this helps

ditch the 6.5 coax and get some of those crystals comps for even cheaper. they sound great even for such a great deal (which makes it better).

personally i dont see a point of having rearfill but its up to you.

crystals components - 130
pheniox gold amp qx180.2 - 180
idq 12 d4 -199
pheniox gold QX500.1d - 379

= $888 all off sounddomain.com

so u guyz sayin its not worth it to amp the rear 6x9's? so i should just get a set thats better then stock, and they dont have to be amped? just run them off the headunit? so then i wouldnt need a 4 channel amp anymore.. i'd only need a 2 channel just for my front 2 speakers?

i think my headunit only pushes 25w RMS thats enuff for to power some decent rear 6x9's?

Amping them is better for a cleaner signal...but make sure you fade them out so that you can't really tell there's sound coming from behind you
