How many layers is necessary?
I was just wondering for all those people that have used any type of sound deadening material on their ride, what do you recommend is the best amount of layers to put on your doors?
I've heard anywhere from 2-6.
Thanks!

depends. I used stormguard, much crappier than say dynamat extreeme. but i got 89304859403850934 sq feet for $60, so i did my entire car minus the floor in 2-5 layers, depending on teh location, both metal and plastic panels, and i have 2/3 the roll left easily.
i wouldnt reccommend doing 6 layers of dynamat extreme in yrou car tho. ca nyou imagine teh cost?

I used Raamat, 1 layer on the door frame, 1 layer on the exterior door skin, 1 on the plastic trim. Big improvement over stock, no more buzzing with the bass. One roll, 62.5 sq ft of Raamat60 is $99 not including shipping, easy to install, I would definetly recommend it.
