That'd be good too..but for the price the Clarion simply cannot be beat by any HU...it's an $800HU on sale for MUCH cheaper...also..get the 6.5" Components..

hey mo can you explain the big diff between components and coaxials? like are they really that much better?

oh and that alpine is a dead head (no int amp) will i be able to run it off the 300.4 amp?

Sound wise yes.. COmponents offer much better midbass as there are no air leakes in the cone like co-ax's. Most coax's only have a 1/2" Tweeter which means more work for the woofer, and more audible disotrion as the woofer is placing midbass and most of the Human vocal range. Witht he cone playing both..vocals aren't as smooth.. Components are also more efficient and more linear due to better machined motors structures. (no plastic tower to hold the tweet...also have better crossover flexibility....and you can mount the tweeter wherever you'd like..

depends a bit on the tweeter actually.. if has a broad axial responce then in the A-pillars would be a good localtion.. if they are rather point sourced and don't have good dispersion.. kickpanel area...
