i need some opinions on my system, i got 2 10' kenwood 2503's with a kenwood KAC-728S Amp and im running a kenwood mp-8017deck. let me know on what you guys think about this setup... thanks

those subs have no low bass (even for 10's) need a hige box to have any sort of sq to them whatsoever, and they cant take enough power to get loud.

do you like the way they sound? who cares what we think then!

thanks for the advice guys, i have heard them before and they seem to be loud but they were hooked up to a fat amp.. so maybe i should get a bigger amp... like a 1600 watt amp

Loud is one thing.. Uncontrolles sloppy fart bass is another...you can have loud and tight sounding dude...witht he kenwoods. it'll be loud and fartlike..

i dont even think kenwoods hit that hard... well not loud enough for me atleast. but ya i have kenwood hu and love it. the amps are pretty nice too. but the subs i would never get

what price range are we looking at? do you care about the sound quality just as much as how loud it is? or do you just want it to be felt a black away?

well im spending like 800 bucks, i could just rehaul my system completely new deck and all but im getting the amp and the subs brand spanking new for 150 bucks so i couldnt pass it by, by the way they are legit..

Import...hmm.. a pair of 10's....why not 12's..you can get a pair of 12" Audiomobile EVO's for like $350 shipped. and a JBL 1200.1 to power them..that would sound great and bump like mad.....

i dont think evos can take 600 at 12 V from what Ive heard. but it will certainly give you a ton of headroom ot make sure your signal is VERY clean. mowhawk and i both know these are very clean subs, but sure as hell not worth the $200 price tag they were at the time I knew ppl buying them. now they are a bit cheaper.
