I got some speakers,
Infinity 60.3cs for the front
Infinity 692.3i for the rear
Since the front speakers, rear speakers, and tweeters all have diffrent watt ratings, I haven't a clue as to which amp I need. I have the stock HU (Because I don't want my radio to light up like a Christmas tree) and will ad a sub later (one 8" or smaller. Just enough bass to make it sound good) as soon as I find out how to get it under the seat.
So, how much watts should the amp be, and which brand(s) would be good for my application?
thanks

Rep Power: 0 I would first worry about upgrading your HU. you can hve the best speakers in the world. but if your feeding them a distorted signal it's not gonna sound much better.

Rep Power: 0 If you don't want your head unit looking like a xmas tree why not get a Nakamichi very classy looks and a great sounding deck. As far amps, it depends on if you want to amp your 6x9's I'll asume you do. Most 4 channel amps have gains settings for the front and the rear. The tweeters are hooked up to your xover it will deliver the right amount of watts to your tweeters. You will need an amp on the front componets reguardless how nice an aftermarket head unit sounds but you may not want to amp your 6x9's. Just a little bit of trebble from the back can drown out the front speakers. Now as far as what amp, Crutchfield has a great deal on a US acoustics usx4085 thats 85x4 rated at 12.9 volts for $189, sweet deal!!!!!!

Rep Power: 0 Wow.. Crapfield with a good deal..ohh .. he he..
Nakamichi HU's and a few other's aren't too flashy ..if you just want good clean sound. No bling bling, a Clarion D315z is a very good choice. Seeing as you want to use a sub under your seat. getting a 4 channel amp would be good. Power your rears off the HU. use the 2 front chanels of the amp or your fronds. and bridge the 2 rear chanels for your sub.

Rep Power: 0 I can not find the Clarion D315z.
Ya I forgot about the crossover for the tweetrs.
So I need a 4 channel amp, but how many watts?
Is US Acoustics any good? There is bad, good, and great; I want an amp between good and great.
BTW: I have a Kenwood KDC-C467FM 6CD changer in the trunk that came with the car. If I get a new HU my CD changer will have to be able to plug into it.

Rep Power: 0 This will make things more complicated...
If I am to get a new HU, it will have to be XM radio ready. and like I said befor: I have a Kenwood KDC-C467FM 6CD changer in the trunk that came with the car. If I get a new HU my CD changer will have to be able to plug into it.
I think that prity much limits my options to none.
Just for $hits and giggles - I got Infinity speakers, why not an infinity amp? Lets say I don't like US Acoustics amps for some reason. what would be a second choice?

Rep Power: 0 Well I haven't a clue. I don't know prices. If bad amps were $33, good amps were $66, and great amps where $100 - I would want a $70 to $80.
