Speaker Question
Okay, I already did a search and it doesn't appear that anybody has answered this question, which I am confused about.
I have a 2001 Sedan and according to Crutchfield, no speakers fit the front and 6 1/2 fit the rear with slight modification.
According to Best Buy computer, 6 1/2 in the front and 6 1/2 in the rear.
According to another STEREO shop, they say 6 1/2 in the front and 6X9's in the back.
Could somebody tell me what fits and what doesn't, and preferably could somebody tell me part numbers of those speakers that you have had installed? Thanks.

Rep Power: 0 The sedans to have 6.5's all around, but Crutchfield is correct about speakers not fitting. It has to do with the mounting depth (how far behind the mounting surface the back of the speaker sits). The spot in the front doors pretty shallow when it comes to most coaxials and components. . .Infinity's and such, for example, will not fit without some dremmeling of the metal behind the door panel. Hope that answers your question.
