battery drain... need fuse box info
my 2004 Honda hybrid has a battery drain that the Honda dealer and a couple of reputable mechanic places cannot locate. If I do not drive the car for a couple of days, the brand new battery is " dead as a door nail".
I have bought a battery jumper and resent having to use it....
So I am thinking of pulling fuses to see if that helps locate the problem.
But I need a diagram of which fuse does what and what is safe to pull out...
of course any other suggestions will be appreciated.
(A few years ago, my car was "bumped" in the rear end and I am just afraid the electrical will never be fixable. I wound up replacing the hybrid battery because the lights started coming on, but the drain ... the drain.)
thanks

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

See if the compressor clutch is engaged when it should not be.
Stuck relay for the clutch is a common issue. If you find it is stuck on, tap on the relay and see if it releases.
Effective troubleshooting would usually mean using an ammeter to measure and track the current draw.
