Purchasing Sound Deadening (Brown Bread)
Purchasing Sound Deadening (Brown Bread)
I'm planning to purchase some sound deadening material soon, and as per Mohawkboom's suggestion since I am in Canada, the way to go is Brown Bread. My purpose is not to create a world-class sound studio but just to quiet down the cabin.
Will doing the 4 doors on the sedan be effective?
Will 35 sq. ft. of Brown Bread be good enough to do 4 doors? Will it do two layers, since I heard that 2 layers is more effective?
Price for 35 sq. ft. at B-quiet.com is $95 USD.

Klam, Figure about 14 sq.ft per door for 2 layers.. get a 70 sq.ft roll and you can deaden your trunk lid and trunk floor a bit too.. this should give ya the most bang for your buck...
